What you don’t hear about ‘manifesting’
In my previous post, I wrote about all the steps that lead to manifesting our office but I didn’t mention an important component of the story because I myself totally forgot about it.
What I didn’t write about, is that I actually saw the ad for our current office, months ago! Probably even the very first time I googled ‘office overlooking the Rhine’. But since it was a co-working space and I wanted a closed office, I discarded it right away. I remember hesitating cause it looked very nice but I kept browsing regardless. And yet here I am writing this from our closed office in that exact same co-working because I gave it a go a few months later when the ad appeared once again in a time I was very determined to find something!
Recalling that moment, I thought: wow it actually can be easy and quick to manifest the things we want,
when we are ready for them!!!
Cause if we are not - like I wasn’t back in June apparently - even if we want them, we’ll keep browsing and miss the opportunity!
I digged deeper to find out the root cause of why it actually took ‘so long’ when since the beginning, it was right in front of me on my phone screen. I also thought of ALL the other times I took the long way home, turns out, A LOT! Especially in my professional life! Because for me, that’s where inner blocks and resistance have been squatting for years!
Most of the time we hear about manifesting in those ways: visualizing, making vision boards, meditating, journaling, surrendering, etc. Those are all great tools that I use as well BUT it’s not enough.
On her podcast, Lacy Phillips often talks about Self-Worth and says: if you don’t feel you are worthy of receiving the things you are asking for, it’s never going to happen. In other words it’s about our inner world (the conditioning, limiting beliefs, fears…) being aware of what is happening there and shedding what is no longer needed.
Looking back at the office example, it would have also helped to: be able to listen more to my intuition by being more in my body (never not a great idea); heal the disease of our time: ‘isn’t-there-something-better-somewhere-else?’ and be more open to the way things might come to me as well as open to receive quickly!
That being said, I also believe that it’s all a process and if things take time it’s okay!
If you do feel like accelerating the process though, contact me! Maybe together we can do something about it! ;)
Happy Monday!
